Who is Alex?
Alex’s love affair with food began under the most unexpected circumstances. She was working as Stage Manager in a play and central to the plot of the play was chicken adobo which was cooked in a clay pot before every performance. No one in the cast and crew could cook, she volunteered and realized that her real passion was cooking. A few months later, she ditched Theater for culinary school.
After selling dozens of cakes to friends who were willing to pick up their order from the boondocks of Antipolo, Alex now regularly supplies cakes and homemade condiments to restaurants. She still accepts special orders.
And when Alex isn’t too busy in the kitchen, she occasionally takes on gigs as Lighting Designer for stage plays and events.
